About the Speakers

Robyn Maszniew has a broad skillset, being well versed in customer relations, services and originations skills. Robyn keeps everything running smoothly, and contact and accountability are high. Before ROS, she worked at Perth Children’s Hospital as a personal assistant to two of the directors and was considered a significant asset to their team. With a background in health services, childcare, and client services, Robyns focuses on kids ages 0-16, primarly focusing on early intervention and keeping our kids strong and supported. Robyn advocates mental health awareness, as do all ROS employees! She works with people of diverse faiths, cultural backgrounds and genders. Robyn has a child on NDIS and has lived experience with the system. This, combined with her understanding of the early intervention systems, hospital supports both mainstream and NDIS support, make her an excellent Support Coordinator.

 

Benjamin Turner is a professional Psychosocial Recovery coach with 13 years of experience in disabilities and mental health. His passion is people and recovery. His background includes providing counselling, career support, disability and aged-care services within local agencies, including Alzheimer’s Australia, Crosslinks, Curtin University & and Empowering Abilities Together. Ben is passionate advocate for mental health awareness and diversity. He regularly work with people of various faiths and cultural backgrounds, nationalities, genders and sexualities (ROS is LGBTQI-friendly). He have had many years of experience assisting people with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, relationships, social isolation, OCD, Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. His wealth of experience working with Neurodivergent individuals and families with multiple siblings and complex needs.
